Date Night....With the Kiddos

I was on my own with the kids tonight, so I decided to take them to one of our favorite local Mexican places.

I don't usually think about ordering a salad when we go out for Mexican food, but thanks to my sister, I have seen the light!  This place has great salads with lots of veggies {unlike other places I've been}.  I usually order the Spinach Salad, but tonight I decided to branch out and try the Tilapia Salad.  It was so good....lots of warm veggies {asparagus, zucchini, mushrooms} and fresh avocado!  It didn't even need dressing.  It was perfect.  I'm so glad we didn't stay home and have mac & cheese {even though that's what two of my kids ordered}.
